An Executive Cabin Talk for those who recognise the value of rare encounters around subjects of real importance.

I wanted to create a space where we take the time to reach the core of future topics — a place where ideas become decisions, and visions become trajectories.

A small, curated circle designed for people able to bring a perspective that builds, a doubt that clarifies, an intuition that opens the way.
Around sixty participants. Just enough to cross perspectives, yet few enough to preserve the quality of attention.
In this setting, my role is simply to give the impulse, connect the angles, and orient the conversation toward what matters for our ecosystems and for the Morocco taking shape before our eyes.

The Business Lounges exist to offer strategic breathing space.

A rare parenthesis where experiences meet, where journeys become material for reflection, where each voice can enrich the next.
The guests play a central role: their ability to read the shifts happening in digital, media, business and territories creates the mental map on which we can all move forward.

#2 INNOVATION LOUNGE

Belgium in the spotlight, in the wake of GITEX

For this special edition, in the wake of GITEX Marrakech, I chose to open the cockpit to an exceptional Belgian delegation: tech startups, regions, institutions. Three Belgian regions, three ecosystems, a common ambition: to find here partners, markets and trajectories.

On the other hand, the Moroccan ecosystem in its most active, most ambitious, most open.

Over the course of an evening, these two worlds meet in a rare setting, without unnecessary protocol, with sixty people for conversations that move forward, and connections that matter.

Belgium in the spotlight
Belgium is a federal country. Three regions: Brussels, Flanders, Wallonia, each with its ecosystem, its international promotion agency, and its companies. This year, they are presenting themselves together at GITEX Marrakech under a common delegation.

The startups that make up this delegation are mainly active in tech. They come to seek contacts on the Moroccan and African markets, technical and commercial partners, and a reading of the local ecosystem. They also have something to offer Moroccan companies that are looking towards Europe.

It is this double movement that gives this edition its particular nature.

The GITEX Marrakech concentrates in a few days what the region has most dynamic in digital and innovation. It is in this spirit that the Innovation Lounge by Tao takes place, not to add one more event, but to offer what the salons do not give: the time for real conversation, in a setting that invites us to get to the bottom of things.

Future Media

For this first edition, I chose to dedicate our cockpit to a subject that is redefining every industry: the attention economy, the evolution of media, and the impact these dynamics create across territories.

I will have the honour of welcoming Jérémy Parola, Chief Digital Operations Officer at Reworld Media, and Pascal Chevalier, the Group’s Chairman. Two major voices, capable of offering a refined and structuring reading of what is transforming brands, content and value today.

Reworld Media has established itself as one of the strongest and most innovative groups in Europe, with more than €530 million in revenue in 2024 and a digital division in constant growth. Grazia, Marie France, Marmiton, Doctissimo… so many brands that shape millions of lives every month.

With Jérémy, we will explore the deep dynamics of attention, the subtle rise of new editorial and advertising formats, the renewed importance of high-quality brand content, the evolution of brands into complete platforms, the growing influence of audiences and data, and this new digital grammar now shaped by AI.

We will then bring this global vision back to Morocco and to our Marrakech region: how to elevate our brands and our territories, how to transform the richness of our ecosystems into lasting value, how to build an economy that is more coherent, more legible, more ambitious.

LOOKING BACK ON THE FIRST EDITION

This first edition confirmed what the Business Lounges aim to be: a rare space where complex topics can be addressed with calm, depth and high standards.

Around Future Media, the conversation with Jérémy Parola and Pascal Chevalier spanned the economy of attention, the role of platforms, the place of data and AI, and what these dynamics concretely mean for brands and territories.

Beyond concepts, guests were able to confront their own challenges with those of a technology-driven media group of European scale, and bring this global perspective back to Marrakech: how to better showcase our ecosystems, our companies, our talents, and turn this potential into lasting value.

This first Business Lounge therefore lays the foundations of a format conceived as much as a decision-making tool as a place for meaningful encounters.

Au-delà des concepts, les invités ont pu confronter leurs propres enjeux à ceux d’un groupe média technologique d’envergure européenne, et ramener cette vision globale vers Marrakech : comment mieux valoriser nos écosystèmes, nos entreprises, nos talents, et transformer ce potentiel en valeur durable.

His work extends well beyond the groups he leads: active tech investor, supporter of startups, observer of emerging models, and attentive to fields such as blockchain, intangible assets and land value — all analysed through the lens of impact and use.
